Just another random post?

Over a year ago, I started this blog to post some poems I wrote earlier and to try to write something consistently. Clearly, I haven't succeeded in the second task, so here I am, giving it another try. Because
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
Hence I present- another patchwork post with pieces of my life, mind, and memory - or simply, some journal entries from the past few months!

19-12-2021-
“Have you known the feeling when you really want something to happen and you wait for a long time and then muster the courage to do something about it and it finally happens and suddenly you just don't want it to happen and want time to go back and erase it?”
05-02-2022-
Everyday is a new try at the same things, but that’s the catch- these tries add up to form a successful try!
This journal entry is so much special now since I started out with struggling to balance in Vrikshasana and now I can hold up to six deep breaths in this pose. What did I do? I did it everyday!
06-03-2022- “Play the fool!”
A sentence that struck me - "be willing to play the fool." American actor and novelist Ethan Hawke said that in a Ted Talk. If you want to absolutely unleash your creativity, then be willing to play the fool. Accept that people will try to mock you and make you look like a fool, but you be ready to play the fool. This way you can be your most authentic self, and while people make you look like a fool, they never really can fool you. Because, you don't care about their opinions or perceptions anymore. I feel when you stop fearing being ridiculed, you are liberated. You are free to do anything you want, and not what other people want. You are free to live!
17-03-2022- Words!
I’m just euphorically, absolutely in love with words. Which language, which writer, what context- none of it matters. Words matter. They are pure bliss!
25-03-2022- Negativity
I decided to listen to podcasts while doing everyday stuff, which would otherwise take me on an endless trail of thoughts. Podcasts are audio files released as episodes, and there are a vast variety of them available on music streaming platforms and on podcast streaming platforms like Google Podcasts. I always wanted to give a listen to “On Purpose with Jay Shetty”, the podcast by Jay Shetty who is an author and a life coach. Now, regardless of your opinion on life coaches or Jay Shetty, I suggest you listen to this really old episode of his podcast, which is on negative people and how to deal with them. Deep inside, I am a very optimistic person. However, the negative people around me have a huge toll on my mind and its optimism. When I spend too much time talking to them or just being with them, I tend to only notice the dull and bleak things around me, and constantly be weary about them. I wouldn’t say that this episode of podcast changed my life or anything, because it didn’t. Instead, it has given me a better understanding on negative people, and I hope to deal with them in a way that they won’t affect my inner peace. So give it a listen, and I am sure it’ll be helpful to at least one of you.
Some ambitious future plans-
I believe good music is born when poetry meets tune. This makes me conscious of what the singer is singing as much as how they are singing it. I have loathed songs for their absurd lyrics, and have fallen in love with songs for their bewitching lyrics and sometimes the absence of it (Yes, sometimes lack of words are poetry too!). And when I listen to the songs I love, various kinds of ideas and thoughts make a fuss in my mind. I am going to jot them down, arrange and rearrange, and publish here. However, I'm no expert at any part of music making; except enjoying it, so I request everyone to keep that in mind as you read on. I hope to get the first post of this series ready in two weeks- fingers crossed!
