Often, we realize things by accident. One such chance encounter made me realize that I can write poems. In my last year at school, I was asked by my class teacher to participate in the school-level Sanskrit versification competition as part of the Kerala State Kalolsavam. Little did I know, I was going to grab an A grade at the state-level that year.

The poem I wrote that day, my first poem in Sanskrit is my first blog post. I have been making a lot of trial and error in blogging, and I hope this time, I won't delete the blog afterward.

The poem is about the spring season (Vasantakaalam). Enjoy!

Thank you!
